Meet the Wonderful Team Behind Starstruck Alpaca Ranch

Chad is our biggest -and most emotionally fragile -male. He’s handsome, awkward and spits his feelings while he huffs and puffs. He’s very much a “Chad.”

Fernando: Don’t judge him by his size- while he’s small, he’s mighty and the stud of the herd. He’s a bossy boss man, directing the boys with his head movements and squeals. As our lead Romeo, we’re waiting to see if his tryst with Connie results in a baby alpaca (cria).

Comet: He bounces and jumps off all fours and streaks across the pasture. He’s Starstruck Ranch’s Comet! He’s the sweetest pre-teen and enjoys nuzzling his muzzle into your palm -for snacks, of course.

Rosie: If Dr. Seuss created an alpaca, it would be Rosie. She wears a bandit mask and has floufy ponies and a quizzical look- always. She’s our oldest alpaca and a very dedicated auntie.

Coni is mom to Chad and Simone. While her legal name is Confection, and she’s white as sugar, she’s not as sweet . . . You don’t mess with Coni. She’s a dedicated mom and the watchman of the herd,

alerting in a high-pitched tone any sign of trouble.

Glory is a sophisticated enigma- aptly named for her glorious cinnamon fiber and elegant prance. She’s the slightly disinterested mother to Comet- checking in occasionally and then staring off in to the distance.

Simone is our pretty princess, and she knows it. She’s named after Simone Biles as she was born during the Olympics and she came tumbling out and did quit a floor routine when learning to walk! Now she lies in the hay, munching and waiting to be admired.
